Altitude Support Services provides respectful, practical in-home disability support across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Raymond Terrace. Support is shaped around the participant’s routine, preferences and goals, with independence and choice at the centre of the arrangement.

Support with you, not instead of you
We aim to provide the amount of help that is actually useful. That may mean prompts, encouragement, completing a task together or providing more direct assistance where needed.
Where a participant wants to become more independent with a task, support can be adjusted so they remain actively involved rather than having everything done for them.
In-home support built around your routine
Every household and routine is different. Before supports begin, we discuss the participant’s preferred way of doing things, the tasks they want help with, the timing that works best and any worker preferences that are important to them.
Clear routines can also help create consistency between support at home and other goals such as community participation, appointments, skill development and social activities.

Funding
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome. If you are unsure whether a particular in-home support can be funded from your individual plan, your plan manager, support coordinator or the NDIS can help you confirm how your funding may be used.
